Eye Love You: A fairytale romance between Chae Jong Hyeop as Yoon Te-O and Shogun’s Fumi Nikaido as Yuri Motomiya
My singledom is manifesting in my reviews for K-Drama
My love for heart tugging K-Dramas landed me to purchase a Viki subscription, to be honest I couldn’t wait for Lovely Runner (click the links to entrance your brain in fantasyland of epic proportions) to come to Netflix, had to watch and vibe with the internet. This made me land up watching “Eye Love You” which fuses Japanese and Korean cultures in a beautiful honest love story between Dolce and Chocolate CEO, Yuri Motomiya and Otter adorable research student Yoon Te-O who is played by the handsome and screen crush, Chae Jong Hyeop. To be honest, his image and the actress from Shogun in a drama of 10 episodes sold me right away.
The story is hauntingly beautiful develops and blossoms like a cherry blossom into an addictive hour-long episode that will leave you wanting more with environmental conservation through business and research.
As a J-Drama newbie, this is the perfect start point to venture and expand the horizon of heartfelt storytelling as a budding screenwriter preferably from the start of 2025 after my Masters.
This show is so intoxicating for people who believe in innocent love stories, that I won’t give any spoilers here, watch it, experience it and come back here, we can chit chat in the comments.
Here is a trailer to the lovely story between two lost souls who found each other.
