Netflix Bloodhounds S2 Brings in the remarkable Jung Ji-hoon
The highly awaited show is finally getting a season 2 that too with Rain as the villian, sign me up!
The fan girl in me is screaming on the top of my lungs, at least wants to! What great news on a random Thursday! The hard-working production and smoking hot cast (sorry for being thirsty, watching this series woke something in me) of Bloodhounds Season 2 have been announced, bringing back your favorite boxing duo with a fresh twist — a new villain. After destroying a heinous loan shark ring (that I wanted to kill so many times over multiple episodes), Gun-woo (the ripped pookie, Woo Do-hwan) and Woo-jin (adorable, Lee Sang-yi) are set to land a jab, this time against a global underground boxing league led by Baek-jeong (Jung Ji-hoon, also known as Rain, another fine gentlemen who I found through KnowingBros. the multi-talented handsome chiseled hunk is set to play the villian). Sorry not sorry for being so thirsty!

The impeccable storyline of this binge worthy series is based on the webtoon of the same name. The first season of Bloodhounds ranked in the Top 10 across 83 countries following its release in June 2023 which is not surprising in the least.
Fans worldwide loved the teamwork and spirit shared by the courageous pair, on screen and off-screen Gun-woo and Woo-jin, both actors are also incredibly close to each other in real life as well. Evidence is here:

In the highly anticipated season 2, Woo Do-hwan (Mr. Plankton, The King: Eternal Monarch) returns as the fighter Gun-woo, who embodies the righteous “heart of a boxer.” Lee Sang-yi (My Demon, No Gain No Love) reprises his role as Woo-jin.
Gun-woo’s bold and brave friend and fellow boxer. Together, they reunite to take down an illegal boxing league which I adore as any social justice angle to any storyline.
Jung Ji-hoon (Take 1, Red Swan) steps into his first villain role as Baek-jeong(so excited for me, applause for his success), who uses his power and any means necessary to draw Gun-woo and Woo-jin into the underground boxing world. It is going to be a trio clash of the titans with k-drama fans screaming from the top of their lungs.
